Even though I have no pictures for lunch I am still going to post it here in order to keep track
Lunch today was Falafel in a pita pocket. I used a yogurt mustard sauce for this.
Dinner was a great experiment:
So I made Pav Bhaji
Normally Pav Bhaji I have the following problems with making Pav Bhaji:
- Never have cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower all at the same time (mainly because all three of these are vegetables which a normally too much for one person in the span of even two weeks)
- Can have too much potatoe (which increases the carb ratio)
- People (including myself) end up eating way more Pav (or bread) then the Bhaji (or vegetable mix).
- Replaced cabbage with brussel sprouts (hey they look like baby cabbages, botanically they are baby cabbages, they must taste like cabbages in some situtations right?)
- reduced potatoe to one small purple potatoe (mainly cause they were on sale and may have less starch then russets, I hope)
- For the rest of the vegetables I used a bag of frozen prepared veggies (which was perfect) which had the added bonus of including the carrots. And came with zucchini (which didn't hurt the party at all)
- Stumped my craving for more starch with protein (milk) and half an orange
